Act IV: The Bloom

And suddenly, the world was full of color.

Happy in the maelstrom
Drowning in the current
If I die today
I'll go happily

I'm just grateful I got to witness
What your love feels like

I would dive into the unknown
Without a scrap of fear
Just a cartographer attempting to chart
The reaches of your abyss

Preposterous are my attempts
Impossible to be lost
As that was my intent

Can't be damned
If the deserted island was one I chose to seek
Because the point was you
Not the return trip

I've discovered something priceless
While moored in the abyss
I was captured
My heart stolen

Never thought I'd see love again
And in my awe and utter bliss
I forgot to gather any evidence
To support my findings
Or even validation
That Love does exist

Be sure to say hello to love
And tell her I'll be back again
If I am ever so lucky
To be graced by her presence
